Ford Options consists of monthly repayments that are significantly lower than general bank rates. It is calculated in three parts, namely:
- Deposit – YOU CHOOSE your deposit term (24,36 or 48 months) and select your expected annual mileage that you think you will cover (20k, 30k or 40k kilometres)
- Balance – The deposit is subtracted and the guaranteed future value (GFV) at the beginning. So now, your monthly instalments will consist of the balance, the interest on it, and the GFV.
- Guaranteed Future Value – At the end of the term, your vehicle will have a guaranteed future value. You will then have three options which are:
- To RENEW the vehicle and choose another vehicle
- To RETAIN and keep the vehicle by paying or refinancing the GFV
- To Simply RETURN the vehicle (the dealer will arrange vehicle appraisal)
