Keynes began his career in 2001 but only joined the motor industry in 2007. He happened to go into a dealership across from his workplace in search of a new vehicle when he had a light bulb moment. Amber Schlebusch starts a typical day at 03h50. Certainly not your average teenager’s idea of an early morning, but for SA’s newest age-group triathlon champion, it is part and parcel of the demands of her sport. At just 15, Amber – a Grade 10 pupil at Durban Girls College – has grown used to her punishing schedule. Before school she squeezes in a 30km bike ride and a 5km run along the Golden Mile. By the afternoon she might have added a 3km swim to her training, or a session in the gym, all the while finding the time – somehow – to remain on top of her schoolwork. Arduous, indeed, but the results of her hard work are there to see. The past weekend saw her crowned the country’s U17 women’s triathlon champion when she dominated the field with a powerful run-leg at Aldam Estate in the Free State, to the extent that she finished 2nd overall in the U19 category. It capped a sensational few months for Amber, who prior to the national champs won a number of prestigious events around the country, including the Midlands Ultra Sprint, KZN Triathlon Champs & Discovery Triathlon School Challenge. Her victories have seen her profile in the sport grow, and she attributes this to her coach Justin Hand of Team Justin / Durban Runner, who took her under his wing last year, giving her the guidance she needed to realize what was, until then, budding potential. The pair have their eyes on next year’s Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires and Amber stands an excellent chance of competing after selection to the talent identification programme run by Triathlon South Africa, currently taking place in Johannesburg. Amber holds numerous triathlon and biathlete provincial titles. Swimming and running were identified early on by her parents as sports she could excel in. On the track, she broke records year after year at Glenwood Prep, accomplishments she has carried into high school. She has run and swum for KZN, and it was these beginnings that ultimately led her down the triathlon path. She remains humble to those who have helped her along the way. With a large support network of family and friends, coaches, teammates and sponsors, Amber has been allowed to flourish at her own pace, and has no hesitation meeting up with friends away from her sport. They have every part you need for your Ford.   The Parts department is managed by Ayden Naidoo, also part of the staff is Logan Nadioo (Manager Assistant) who has served this very department for just over 20 years, our sales executives, Jessy Chetty who is a platinum member at Ford Motor Company South Africa also we have Clinton Poonsamy and not forgetting theirs assistants Smanga Ngongoma and Davidson Thwala.

Choosing the colour of your car is no different, it’s a decision that has to be made. Choosing the colour of your car reflects taste and personal style. Here is a take on it:  Yellow is regarded as a safe colour for a car. It’s actually quite popular across the world, even though people are described as driving a lemon. Black is regarded a cool car colour. People that drive black cars are executives mostly or their drivers. Its shows the sleek edges and bold features of a car. Consider black if you are part of the cool kids. Red is the most popular colour, for obvious reasons. The colour red is sexy. You have to be bold and outgoing to drive a red car. It screams I'm a fast-living, fast-loving, fast-moving individual. It means that you'd be driving a Ferrari if your budget allowed for it. White cars resemble cleanliness more than anything. “White cars look smart and cool in the same way an all-white outfit looks smart and cool”. If you are all about washing your car more often than not, then white is definitely the colour for you. There aren't quite so many green cars but they reflect a vibrant playful lifestyle. You are easy going and probably fun and flirty too. Great colour idea for a first car unless if your first car is a Bentley then that’s another story. Silver cars are currently the most popular They say that you're calm without being ostentatious, ambitious without being flashy, and that you're only one car away from a Mercedes. Purple cars are not so common and not as cool as the other colours but you will definitely make a statement, not too sure what statement though. However, cars colours have evolved with the times you no longer get just red. Ford has some candy red and race red just to make it that more exciting, sea grey, copper pulse, cobalt blue, ingot silver, magnetic silver aluminium are some of the different variations you can choose from the list goes on and on. But don't stress if you don’t know the new fancy names: if you ask for the red one, they'll understand.
